To recap:
1) I am bringing stove, 2-man tent and vehicle.
2) I will be staying at the Hampton Inn-Albuquerque Friday night
3) I will pick up David in Albuquerque from UAL 7653 at 1238.
4) I have reserved room at Holiday Inn Express in Grants for Saturday and Sunday. Will reserve for following Saturday when we hit town.
5) Will pick up water in Grants and finalize cache plans on Saturday; make drops on Sunday.
6) Bob arrives Sunday night.
7) We will accomplish communal shopping in Grants and each will provide their individual meals.
I will depart Friday morning around 0700 and will have email and cell coverage pretty much all day long. It will get spotty between Amarillo and Tucumcari and between Tucumcari and Albuquerque.

To cut down and duplication, are there things we can assign? Bob and I are doing stoves and tent. Do we really need 3 first aid kits, 3 sets of fire starters, three cartons of Camels, etc? Since I am going to be humping more water than normal along with a camera tripod I am not inclined to carry extras. David if you want to leave some things behind drop a note and we can coordinate. Who is bringing the DVD player?
I appreciate your comments about duplication. But I certainly insist on my own carton of Camels. Just bring what you think you will need, and we can share stuff you don't.
Okeedokee. I am bringing a full tripod. It's a lot of weight to hump but I may elect to leave it tied to the boat when we take off.
